The LinkGear panel-mount power socket has been specifically designed for powering the Starlink Mini. The plug of the original Starlink Mini power cable fits perfectly into the socket, providing a clean, durable, and permanently installed power connection for RVs, expedition vehicles, boats, trailers, or stationary installations.

This socket is a joint in-house development by LinkGear and Yaosheng. Both the housing and the screw-on protective cap are made entirely of metal. This makes the socket significantly more durable than comparable plastic solutions and suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.

Recommended Installation with a Boost Converter

To continue using the original long Starlink Mini power cable, we recommend our 12/24 V Boost Converter for Starlink Mini. For this installation, the plug on the power supply side of the original cable is cut off, and the cable is soldered directly to the rear solder terminals of the socket.

The boost converter increases an existing 12 V or 24 V DC input to the higher output voltage required for longer cable runs. Powering the socket with up to 48 V must only be done using a suitable power supply or our dedicated boost converter.

Outdoor Use

When used outdoors, the metal protective cap must be fully closed and securely screwed on after unplugging the power connector. Only when the cap is properly closed is the socket protected against the ingress of moisture and dirt.
