1. Free Return of Used Batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As an end user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries to ensure they are disposed of properly. You can return used batteries at the point of sale or at nearby locations (e.g., at municipal collection points or in retail stores) free of charge. You may also send back batteries to us sufficiently postage paid.
2. Meaning of Symbols
Batteries or accumulators containing harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out trash can. This symbol indicates that batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. Near the trash can symbol, the chemical name of the pollutant is indicated. ‘Cd’ stands for cadmium, ‘Pb’ for lead, and ‘Hg’ for mercury.
